State Minister for Aboriginal Affairs Visit
On Friday 18th December, the Hon. Gabrielle Williams MP, State Minister for Aboriginal Affairs went on a tour along the UNSECO World Heritage Listed Budj Bim Cultural Landscape.
GMTOAC's World Heritage Unit took the Minister to the Keeping Place/Business Centre for lunch. They all then travelled to Lake Condah/Tae Rak to explore the 6,600 year old aquaculture systems. The World Heritage Unit then took the Minister to Allambie, to showcase the stone house villages.
GMTOAC hopes to see the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs back on Gunditjmara Country soon!
