About the event

On 28 June 2023, Minister Bowen the Minister for Climate Change and Energy, announced a proposed area for future offshore wind energy projects in Commonwealth waters in the Southern Ocean. In response to this announcement and to ensure the Gunditjmara community is fully informed and able to provide a position on this proposal, a ‘Gunditjmara Offshore Renewable Energy (Climate Change) Symposium’ will be held on 17 and 18 August 2023.
